Child safety

Most people using Udayy are school students, many of them young children studying on a parent's phone. That single fact shapes every product decision we make.

What Udayy never does

• No advertising of any kind, and no advertising profiles built from what a child studies.
• No behavioural tracking pixels or third-party analytics that follow children across sites.
• No public student profiles, no leaderboards, no direct messaging and no comments.
• No uploads of a child's photo, voice or video.
• No selling or sharing of learner data with any third party.
• No streak-guilt notifications, countdown pressure or casino-style reward effects.

The little data we do keep

A student profile holds only a display name or nickname, the chosen board, class, medium and language, an optional avatar choice, and a daily study goal. We never ask for a full legal name, date of birth, school name, address, phone number, government ID or location.

Guardian-managed profiles

A parent can link to a child's account, but only with the child account's consent: the parent generates an invite code and the child enters it from their own signed-in account. No one can attach themselves to another account without that step. Linked parents see high-level progress — lessons completed, practice scores, study minutes — and never private notes or doubt-solving conversations.

Content standards

Lessons are age-appropriate and reviewed by a subject reviewer before publishing. Nothing auto-publishes. Machine translations are never published without human approval. Anyone can report a problem with a page — no account needed — from the report page.

Reporting a safety concern

If you believe a page is unsafe, inaccurate or inappropriate for the class it is filed under, report it and we will review it as a priority. Parents may also request deletion of a child's account and all of its progress data at any time — see privacy and children.
